why?

3 idiots was an awesome movie. That is my point of view. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Chetan Bhagat wrote a great book which was something new and different from regular reading material. But the whole controversy surrounding the movie and the book is pointless. There is so much more that the media and these individuals can cover and work on rather than fighting aimlessly about whether this movie is based on the book or not. We read the book. We saw the movie. It's done. Why the hell are these guys still fighting?

Our country is suffering from so much corruption and so many dejected lives that if a few select people, our so called "leaders", put in this much of a hullabaloo about issues that NEED to be sorted out first then we can hope ,at the very least , for better lives that so many require. Fighting over irrational things like "Oh my book is better than your movie" and vice versa is just mental instability. By the way, Bhagat has lost this enormous war and apparently can be sued if he is charged by the movie's production people.

How about the making a big deal about DGP SPS Rathore and what he did in 1990? Isn't that something worth fighting for? He was given a 6 month sentence. Even a juvenile caught for stealing and attempting a small robbery can get a worse punishment. This sadistic and twisted person was given bail on the first day by the court. Hopeless much?

This is just one incident. There are countless more. How about spending money to helping those who need it rather than funding nuclear weapons? Is the government preparing to defend a nation who's people's plight is not worth defending? We have riots and brutal battles being fought within that eventually our downfall will be our own cause. The nuclear weapons will most probably end up rotting and getting covered with cob webs someday then.

So Mr. Bhagat and Mr. Khan lets call it a day. What say?
