final destination : the end

According to recent movies, we are all either to die by an epidemic of natural disasters brought on us by our own ignorance, psychopathic killers who enjoy torturing people for their own pleasure, inevitable death as in the final destination series or the well told alien invasions. But what do you think will really happen? Each of these movies brings with it its own conspiracy theories and narratives. Not matter how cheesy these movies seem, they do instill fear to a extent. Even if it's very minute.

Imagine that none of the above is the cause for our extinction. No cosmic phenomenon, no world wars, nothing. We all live peaceful lives and draw out as much as we can out of each day. In the end, we die and reach the green fields of heaven. Where the sun never sets and there is endless, boundless spaces to run free. That my friends is mythological.

Who are we kidding? I watch a lot of horror movies and trust me when I say that even those there are many of us who will die content, a larger portion might end up facing the inevitable doom through a terrorist attack or a natural calamity or even an alien invasion. Insecurity prevails and fear is abundant. Live with it. The best you can hope for is a day which doesnt see crimson rivers flowing in some part of the world.

And that is the definition of mythology. Cheers.
